i wonder what anne sexton would think of this song if she was with us to hear it today...just hearing it gives one a true sense of the hurt she grappled with for so long. it's interesting how different people pull different meanings out of the song esp. the ones who don't know it's about sexton. it's beautiful how art can mean so many things all at once...
