fist of all, that is a sick guitar.
but all your doing is straining your voice. like someone else said, the song sounds like it does originally because that's daves voice.
not everyone can scream like he does and make it work. if you stick to your own voice and dont try to make it sound like grohl's, then itll come out much better.

his voice sounds fine dumbasses. even dave strains his voice to some degree tho its a lot easier for him due to training for years to get it that way. but no one has that voice naturally im sure he doesnt walk into mcdonalds like giiihhhmme a big maaaaaaaahhhhhhcccc

That was cool man. You got a good scratchy voice like Dave. But duude DON'T back and forth strum those chords... you gotta down strum em. It gives a much less powerful effect if you do it as you're doing. Otherwise, great!
