for one thing, most of this music is from early 00's, some stuff from 90's
for another, I dont see any commonalities with spice girls/fallout boy.If you criticise music, do it in an intelligent and constructive way, dont just make pointless remarks. third of all, this is a selection of music by a person/organisation, it doesnt represent alt. rock as such. I agree it doesnt have the best alt tracks out there, but jesus arent u generalising a bit when u say all alt rock is going to the shitter?

meh... Now we r going into the whole patronising the youth thing... m8 believe me I dont just listen to new stuff. I love stuff like radiohead OK computer, the old RHCP albums, etc.
I probably dont know as much abt older alt rock as the random 30-40 yr old, but I can still see where its going in general terms. In many ways yes its becoming more shallow, but not all of it is bad tbh. Yes most of the guys on this billboard are cissies, but there are exceptions :)
