Watch the replay, and look at where the ball goes, not where the player who threw it goes -- he's moving backwards at the time of the throw, and that's distracting, but it's irrelevant. 13 losing seasons in 20 years, as well as the game being their first playoff game in 25 years and their first playoff win ever. Plays that change the course of sports history tend to rate highly in this sort of thing, and, to my mind, that is as it should be.

dmg986, I do suppose that it comes down to opinion as I mentioned in my first comment. I have heard many analysts state that they feel the Music City Miracle was very, borderline illegal. Of course, they cannot be partial on the air, but you can tell how they feel. Regarding the Immaculate Reception, no one can take away what the Steelers accomplished in the 70's, and though I used the word, I don't believe in luck. It was just a right place right time thing.
