"Fuck the God of War" Iraq Procurement 2004

During the 26- 28th April 2004 Large Businesses Executives and Representatives (including Shell, ExxonMobil, ChevronTexaco and US arms manufacturer Raytheon) gathered like vultures to slice and dice up Iraq, not for the benefit of the Iraqi people, but for themselves.
This meeting was fittingly called the "Iraq Procurement Conference" I went to London on the 27th to film and participate in one of the protests and this is the footage from that day. By the time I arrived, it was absolutely pouring down with rain in sheets, and began to thunder with ice-cold hai
l too. It was wet, cold, windy and utterly miserable and the worst possible weather you could imagine - for protester , or police... This however did not put off any of the protesters who were some of the most amazing and passionate people I've witnessed in my life. In the video you will see some

iveledge to be at and witness as it showed me how heroic and passionate people can be in the most adverse of circumstances when all odds are against them. When watching the arrests, keep in mind that these arrests are of the people who cared most at that moment for the people of Iraq, whilst our be

| I support the dignity that humanity carries within itself beyond manufactured borderlines, parties, and affiliations. If humans are killing each other, it is a disgrace to ALL humans - this isnt about taking sides. War is a psychiatric disorder. I cannot support the use of force to compensate for ignorance, but I can support the troops for who they really are - human beings like you and I. |

| In WWII we faced a psychotic enemy determined to exterminate millions of people which had rounded up dissenters, enslaved or killed them, and invaded innocent country after innocent country.
