@imgottie: He had it replaced with his trademark "O" symbol, as I'm sure you know. Similarly, McCain has his last name on his plane and not an American flag. It's not un-American to respectfully remove a US flag, when replacing it with a less nationalistic symbol and to clarify what the plane is all about. Besides, Obama's plane still has US flags on it, for instance near the plane's number.
