I'm born and raised in the south. Church family when we were younger, baptised, and everything. But, I believe in legalizing gay marriage. Along with the other ways I was raised, I was raised in a open minded family who believed in equal acceptance for everyone regardless of sexual orientation, color, sex, religion or anything else. Therefore, it makes me sad to see people so close minded to the truth. Were in a new millenia, new generation, new time, time to change our outlook on life.

Homosexuality has been around since almost the beginning of time. Why shouldn't we let them get married when they're tired of living in the dark about their feelings and just want to have a healthy, happy, loving marriage just like straight people?

So what if I don't. doesnt mean I can't talk about god. People who believe only in religion are simple minded and need to look at the full spectrum. I never said I didn't have religion, I believe there is a higher power that we can't explain, and to try to explain it people came up with god. Also, look through that beloved bible of yours that you believe came from god himself. For every passage that says one thing, theres another that says the complete opposite. The Webster dictionary has three definitions for the word marriage. One of them does state the old belief that it is between a man and a woman, but the third one which is probably the newest, states "an intimate or close union". It doesn't say between which sex or gender, just a close or intimate union. And I disagree with your belief that we should let child molesters do whatever they want. That is, in my belief, a crime. They have hurt someone mentally and physically, marriage doesn't.
