I personally got hooked on the final fantasy series by A thousand words... (FFX2)
However afterwards I found final fantasy X to be my favorite in both story and characters.

the game wasnt too bad. this was the only final fantasy game ive ever had and played but i was told this one wasnt good so that gives me some hope on the rest of the series. i never got around to beating this game especially since i dont have my ps2 anymore but i do remember the part in the game where she sings on top of her ship at the beginning of this video.

Same here, actually. My first exposure to FF in any depth was the 1000 Words vid. I think that, and screenshots, is what kept me facinated by it until we got a console.
Out of the ones I've played, FFX and FF1 are my favorites. X-2's game playstyle wasn't my favorite, though it was still an enjoyable game. I would've preferred it without the psueduo realtime action. VII is usually considered the best, I hear. From what I've seen of it it looks to be an great game

it was pretty good. the only problem really is that the vid was mainly just clips of yuna singing. with a little rikku and paine. and only 1 part with Tidus in it. When i saw the title i thought it was another YunaxTidus. I liked it, but all i'm saying is there should be more Tidus in it.
