dude, if you weren't there in 76/77, then shut it, because your " 20 years later" opinion doesn't mean anything. Back then they were as punk as anything else coming out. Punk was so varied back then, and that's what made it so great. And yes, I was there.

Fucking brilliant!! The best band ever. Art School was my favourite track by em; Raw,fast and aggressive.....love it! I brought all their singles and albums in the 80s- still got them, my 10 year old son listens to them now,he loves them! Nice clip mate.Cheers.

Make that 30 years BoogaPaul (man, I'm old!). And casey0dear it's superb you've discovered The Jam; they really don't get the attention/rep they deserve. Influenced by mod/soul/punk/rock, but - like The Smiths after them - sounding like no other band!
