| Someone inevitably gets on these forums and says something like this no matter what era the music was made in. I'm 41 years old and continue to enjoy music from the last 60 years. The internet has made it possible for more artists to bring their music to the public than ever before. This means that us listeners have to work a little harder to find the good stuff amongst the crap, but there is plenty of good stuff to be found. My advice is to look a little harder. |

| Well, I mean to say that I'm not into the whole aesthetic of today's pop. Today is a big mash-up of everything else, it seems less distinct but no less creative. However, a lot of power rock, disco and new wave seems to have so much irony involved. Once something is done once it's hard to do it again. |
