People are funny. Even if Joy has a body fat % that is unhealthy, it doesn't mean she's not worth liking. It's her body. Why should someone care SO MUCH what she does or doesn't do to it. Some of the commenters here are serious control freaks.

Actually, there are some pretty valid "excuses". Most gym memberships average about $500 a year, it's cheaper to buy a burger than produce, and US citizens average workdays of almost 12 hours as we are an extremely industrial nation. People are tired, have bills to pay and the average American parents don't have time to dedicate to much other than work and children. Something that might benefit the country would be cheaper diet foods and produce and companies could invest in company gyms.

Rofl. How is it a "disadvantage" to not get "hot dates"? I guess if your life so greatly depends on someone else's acknowledgment, but it's much better to find worth in yourself than constantly seek it from others. Seriously, go outside. Plenty of heavy people have great relationships. Believe it or not, not every person is as shallow as you and would love to spend time with someone regardless of their size.

People who think a person is more valuable if they have smaller measurements are the people who drive others to eating disorders.
