What can I say? Just a real quick video from the new Timeshift DEMO - showing a bit from the start of it until I die... I played on hardest (how hard that might have been...) and controls for the suit was quite tricky.
Anyways - first off we see the lovely intro that certainly clears up what this game is about for those who are totally new to the series, like me. The real plot in this game is your ability to go back in time, stop time or slow time down - feels a bit like what F.E.A.R. did in its time as a FPS bu
t with an ability to costumize the time abilities a bit more, while this is not a horror shooter either. Shift + E will stop time F will slow time down Ctrl + F does something I have no idea of what it does so far. Runs really smooth, on what Fraps tells me is 42FPS which I doubt strongly as it a
ctually runs kind of perfect... When recording I hit a average 38FPS so I don't know what is going on, but it runs fine, thats for sure. Playing on: MSI K9A Platinum, X580. AMD Athlon X2 6000+ 2GB OCZ ATi Crossfire Certified RAM, 800mhz, CL4. Sapphire HD 2900XT Creative X-fi Xtreme Gamer Ther

It's cool, that's for sure, but I feel like the plot is too simple to justify the potential price-tag. But the Demo was cool, even if I didn't finish it, yet. AI was absolutley OK, everything looked atleast solid and sounds were alright too.

I been looking forward to this game a lot..does CTRL + F make it go back in time? Anyways, thx for the upload. Im tryna buy a new rig now to play up and coming nex-gen (sorta) games like these..I think the whole idea of stopping, going back and just messin with time is kewl.

I got full visual settings except for xAA. And note that resolution is insignificant in YouTube as a 1MBS and a 60Mbs video will all be converted into a certain, Internet-friendly environment and quality so video-quality doesn't change anything in the end.

I don't know, I just got it downloading at the background, took 2 hours, top. Depends on your bandwith, router, configuration and ultimately what source and connection you're on.

Thise game will most likely run better on a Nvidia card since Nvidia pays a lot of developers to optimize games for their cards. :/

Nvidia pays for the development of the game to have their logo and potential bundle with - along with better optimization at times, but ATi drivers tend to increase performance good enough on their own to make that a insignificant boost. And Unreal 3 Engine works best on Nvidia right now, but we'll see once the Radeon HD3800-series (R670 and R670XT) is launched how the table might turn

Will 3870 run this game at maximum settings at 1920 by 1200 with aa and af on? Cause i got Asus Maximus and it's crossfire. On one side it's sucks cause it doesn't have SLI support but on the other hand it's the best mobo i have ever seen for overclocking..

I think HD3870 will run this very good, with atleast 2xAA and 16xAF on for sure. I'm not on a HD3870 myself so I cant promise anything, but with overclock (the R670 clocks like a son-of-a-bitch) I don't think 4xAA will be any problem at all.
