Watch the short version and the "uncut version" back to back and you will see several differences. One that sticks out is the Heil sign instead of the hand over the heart. Also for all of those people who are complaining about the blood on the students, they all have a little of Jeremy's blood on them. They helped drive him to this act with the teasing and bullying. There is a lot of other symbolism in the video. At one point, the blackboard has a sentence about environmental stresses.

My favorite part of the video, in this as well as the uncensored version, is the end... A close-up of another blood-spattered student, who's framing his (her?) hands around the eyes as if to see the gruesome spectacle better without the blood impeding vision. This is a statement of the society we live in which holds true to this day, sadly enough, that people are morbidly fascinated with stories of tragedy with little to no remorse. How many times have you passed an accident scene and gawked??

I've never noticed how at 1:05, "Jeremy" is next to a picture of a wolf, and his head is in the wolves mouth. Or maybe that's just my overactive imagination. Anyways, amazing video. Pearl Jam is truly amazing.

This is one of the most powerful videos ever made. A true story about Jeremy Wade Delle who walked into his classroom and shot himself in front of his entire class. The director portrays Vedder as a mentally deranged person recalling what he remembered about that day. Aside from Jeremy and Vedder, no one moves very much; statues ignoring or mocking Jeremy. "he said it didn't matter..." quoted from Jeremys best friend the day of the tragic event who talked about how Jeremy took being made fun of
