My point: Boxster is a great car, got decent performance, looks fantastic, not too many around, and fast eough for 90% of people. So tell me the Boxster is a great car, But DO NOT tell me that it is a performance car when there are so many cars of the same price, or cheaper that outperform the Boxster. And there is no more argument here: I just posted the facts!!!

(lol) its fact that you dont no anything, its not about how quick a car is to 60mph to make it outperform other cars its down to how it puts its power down, brakes, corners etc etc etc, you also got a few 0-60 times wrong the new boxster s is 5.1 seconds to 60 and standard boxster is 5.8 though it doesnt really make any difference anyway, where did the elise come into this??? because that car can outperform a boxster round a track, everything else would not and could you be more specific!!!!!!

your thinking of the old boxster S in these lap times, the new one was clocked at 8:12 driven by walter roehrl, the new STI you are referring to is a c-spec so its tuned to go very fast, where are all of these new cars coming from anyhow, some of the lap times are wrong aswell, also why wouldnt the boxster S be a performance car it was built to be just that your confusing me!!!?????!!!!

ya... a BMW 745, and a S 500 are great cars but they are not performance cars... all Im saying is that the boxster is a great car, but you shouldn't buy it if you are buying it for performance.

Boxster isn't built to be a performance car, its built for people who cannot afford a 911. But still want a convetible porsche.

Performance per dollar means nothing. The Boxster has the spirit of a true Porsche. I've driven an '05 S, and '07 and and '08 Cayman both on the road and at AutoX's.
It's a scintillating car in terms of cornering stability/sustained grip, initial steer-in, body roll and steering neutrality. And it has incredible steering feedback. The motor is a bit lacking, but the new Cayman S should fix all that. It's a lot like the NSX ... seemingly average numbers sum
to create an awesome car.

Wow! Great sound! Thanks for keeping the 'music' toned down. I think the raised fist (Tag Heur) was a gesture for the freaking motorcycle to get out of the way! ;o) Man! The 'Ring' was crowded..and extremly dangerous that day!

GT3's rock, and you can drive. Your watch sucks, lol, go get a rolex if you want watch, or save thousands
get a timex; but do ditch the cheesy "TAG" brand. Finally, the dude on the R1 should have decked your ass for getting so close to his ass end... you will screw up someday

ok maybe i was to blunt on the fact that the boxster is fast. its not SUPER fast but as i sad before,it is fast enough to scare people. also i never said that it was the fastest car in the worl did i?

They pay, they ride. It's not a race. What are buses and vans doing on the ring? See the Helmut Dahne video. He wouldn't be slowing many cars down. There are very very few cars and drivers that will beat the fastest bikes and riders. Yes a modded car(with a modified bike engine!)has the record but 7.19 is still very fast. Some drivers in some cars are faster then some riders on some bikes on some corners. It's not a hard and fast rule that every car is faster than every bike in every corner.

yeah, I know all this, but still think this is a track for cars only.. the bikes are only fast on the straights, and this track has over 170 corners, so that could be a problem.. :) lol
I can`t do anything with it, so I really don`t care, just had to say it.. peace man.. ;)
