its to block the sensor bars, he doesnt have a modified flip top. the modified flip top ps2 blocks the sensor. its to play import games from japan. doing this and the magic slide.

Thing is this doesn't work with PS2 games unless you have the original to. I'm trying to play Way of The Samurai its CD format, and it won't boot at all with other originals but only does with the original game. My guess is because PS2 games that are CD format require original PS2 games in CD format, and not DVD.

Oh yeah the second sensor doesnt need doing u only have to wedge some cardboard in to hold the notch open so it doesnt stop the disk from spinning.

´ve been reading the comments and the generic questions: (aka: ZOMG! What is sensor magic? lol) but well, I didn´t found an answer to my question, I´ve read on blogs that you can play PS1 CD backups using this softmod, that all you need is to boot an original PS1 game, wait for the playstation lo
go and then replace it with the backup CD. as simple as that, is that true? coz´ I have tons of ps1 backups and my chipped ps1 broke :-/. thanks and hope u can confirm that
