| Dude, you suck man. Kyuss is my favorite band (I have all of their albums), and Down is a good band (although not as good as Kyuss.) Going out and saying shit like you are is disrespect for the dead. That's wrong. |

| i just wanted to say that for those who say that pantera sucks.. get a life...If you don't like pantera keep it to yourself...i dont care, and neither does any1 else here...anyway Dimebag darrel isnt maybe one of the greatest guitarrist technically speaking...though I don't think that what makes some1 a great guitar player is their technique but its the soul that they put in their music..and dimebag put alot of soul in his solos and in his songs. |

| Glad to here from another hardcore kyuss fan. I mean no immediate disrespect to Dimebag, im just peeved that once he died he suddenly is held on high for being one of the greatist guitarists ever... i don't see it. I think we just have a genre sympathizing with the fact that he got shot on stage. Shot performing. I don't for a second doubt dimebags devotion and passion for his music. I just don't think he deserves any special title (other than what he had already earned) |

| Dimebag brought southern grove in metal to the forefront. Also, he kept metal hard and aggressive when all that pussy-ass grunge crap was tryin' to take over in the early to mid 90's. He also kept soloing in metal-along with Zakk Wylde-when so many other mainstream bands were avoiding it all together. So, whether you like Dime or not, you gotta at least acknowledge his contributions. SO QUIT HATIN', FAGS! |

| I think Dimebag had a big enough following before he died to say his death only solidified his greatness. We all knew this way before he died. Even Brian May of Queen listened to him with his son. Dimebag is well respected by musicians from all genres. Down is great, grooving metal, and I think Pepper has to get credit for adding that CoC thickness to the music. Much credit to Phil for staying active and showing his versatility over the years. |
