The TKD dude stepped out of bounds 2-3 times. No reason for the monk to continue pursuit. His jump in the air may have been over played, but the his knee guarded his groin.

Shaolin don't train to fight by mma rules. Most take downs leave the groin, eyes, throat, open. Not to mention there is are not small joint manipulations in mma. The way MMA people fight is perfect for mma rules and regulations. -- Shaolin is something way different.

well, i did taik wan do ( i think thats the spelling ) up to red belt w9ith a black tip. and gudung by what i saw there id say that shaolin is definently a much more civilized martial arts. they manly block and defend themselves and only attack as an absolute last resort, but when they do it is very effective
