One of my favorite Roxy Music songs. I believe that's Gary Tibbs on the bass who would later become one of Adam's Ants. Anyone who says that after "Siren" they were washed up is sooo wrong.

One of the all-time greats. "Romantic" is a much-abused term in music, but I'd put this one up there as about as pure and perfect example as there is. How many songs do you still really love, twenty or twenty-five years later? Thanks so much for putting this up.

Beautiful song. Hard to believe it's 28 years old. So slick in its production values that it could have been recorded yesterday. Those melancholic piano stabs in the chorus go right through to the very soul. Brilliant.

I love the *string-synth*...dunno what model it is but it combines vintage dreamy *blending* with a more modern *raspy edge*
Yeah early Roxy is prob. best but I do like most of 'Flesh + Blood'...it has a lovely melancholy black & white atmosphere running all thru it

Normally, I'm not a fan of 70s music but this is one of my favorite songs from that decade besides "The thrill of it all". If you haven't heard anything by Roxy Music, you're missing out on a HUGE part of the 70s rock scene. Try to get your hands on the "Country Life" CD. That stuff is Ferry at his best.
