I am a seventh day Adventist's Christian and i must say Amen to a man that will stand against the silly, stupid, and Carnal ideas and practices of most of the churches in the United States.His comments about seperating oneself from the world and uniting with Christ that the whole world may know his love is fantastic!!:)

My sins are on the CROSS. The HOLY SPIRIT does NOT convict a BELIEVER of sin, but conviction is for NON-Believer to bring them to Christ. The Devil convicts Believers of sin because then they deny what Jesus did on the Cross for them and so he is mocking God and therefore the believer gets bound by the devil to live a vicious religious cycle of constant repentance, denying the Power of the Cross and the Blood of Jesus. Jesus set me FREE from the Law of sin and death HALLELUJAH!!!

How can a Believer confess sins which were on the cross 2008 years ago? The Blood of Jesus CONTINUALLY cleanses the Believer. We are NOT Holy one day and unholy the next day!! That thinking is based on works. I AM SAVED BY GRACE FROM BEGINNING TO END I CAN ONLY BOAST IN WHAT JESUS CHRIST DID FOR

1 John 1:9 is to believers. Verse 3- that which we have seen and heard we declare to you...verse 4 And these things we write to YOU! Yes the Bible repeatedly tells us that we need to confess our sins. Verse 10 if we say that we have not sinned ... present tense. The statement that the blood of Jesus continually cleanses does not make sense to me. Sounds catholic. You must be living a prefect life! Sounds like you never sin, impressive but doubtful. According to Scripture not true.

We are saved by Jesus when we believe in Him AND repent of your sin. But we Christians face sin as much as anybody else and sometimes we may fall to temptation. This is not an excuse to sin. But my point it that we should repent daily of our sin.

John is speaking in the first person, not the second or 3rd person. WE confess our sins to God. Jesus Christ died once and for all for our sins. Once we are saved we are always saved. Confessing our sins to God so our conscience is clear of guilt has nothing to do with salvific cleansing.

you have to be joking. paul washer is right. that's why ALL jewish people who aren't messianic are still waiting for their savior to this day. and unfortunately, the bible states they will find it in the antichrist. the jews, more importantly the skeptics like the pharisees and sadducees were expecting a king, and were blindsided by a humble carpenter on a donkey.
