YES I completely agree with you, FF VIII SUCKED it's a shame people don't want to admit it because they overwhelmed with the graphic and fmv. FF VI still the BEST.

really? that's interesting... most people don't say that about VIII. I loved the story in it, and the cities and characters were awesome, but the junction system was just so unusual and drawing spells for it was so time consuming. I remember spending a lot of time on leveling my GFs. great game, but very low re-playability. I'd call 6 my fav. I've played through it too many times to count and the story still captivates me.

...maybe some people just have different taste? I was really sentimental around the time I first played 8, so I enjoyed the love-themed story. Squall and Rinoa, Laguna and that singer (i forget her name). The scene in the Ragnarok was one of the most classic scenes across all FF games. Not to mention it had the hottest female cast. Rinoa, Selphie (gotta love that yellow outfit, even if she was annoying), Quistis, Ellone... all completely hot.

Played them all except 8. They are all very good. I'd have to say FFT and FF6 are both my very favorite.
FF6 - Kefka actually wrecks the world! (who knew a villain would succeed) FFT - Ramza was just bad ass. I like all the drama in the game. (woot izlude tingel) Both have the best sound tracks. I still wonder how they got the organ music (last battle) to sound so real rather than sounding like a m
