Video Description:
The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo on the Gong Show. This was seen originally in 1976. This had been sitting on my shelf for years. I figured all old time Boingo fans may enjoy this. I still have about 25 stubs from all the Boingo concerts I saw, and never missed the annual Halloween show. It appears the guy with the rocket is Danny's brother Richard, and Danny is playing the Trombone. Thanks Oingo Boingo for all the years of great music, there was nothing like it! M.C.

I can see how you would assume that, due to the red hair..but he is actually the one playing the trombone, as the description suggests. The one with the rocket is supposedly his brother. =)

@NarbonneGauchoBoingo ..really appreciate your keeping all these video tapes. My dad says 70's and 80's were a priceless time full of laughter and good times! Where fun and silliness ruled over the fears we live in today. When Aides had KooL in front of it, a Terrorist was just a neighbor kid and everyone thought pedo had something to do with a bicycle!!! He claims Danny Elfman is a Genius and Legend Song writer w/100's of songs and over 40 Movie Scores to his credit. I'd say he's right!!! :)

I use to go to the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach to see the Oingo Boingo. Danny would stand out in the median of PCH and breath fire. Dang, them was the days.
