| In the book that I had read about his life I read that at the time when they had made the video to Smells Like Teen Spirit he was living in his car,because at that point in time in there cararreer they still havn't made any money,it was after the Never Mind album when the song Smells Like Teen Spirit was when they made all there money and were rich,the thing about Kurt is he realy didn't care about being rich and didn't like to be in the spotlight and he realy hated the attention. |

| kurt wrote this song refering to his life when he droped out of school because he didnt have enough credits to graduate and his mother didn tlet him in the house and told him he could get a job or leave. he left the house and would stay over with friends and would sneak to his mothers basement at times, but when he didnt find any place to go he would stay underneath the bridge over the wishkah river. |
