Scientology Is Dangerous

Video Description:
The aim of Scientology is to create a world without insanity, without war, without crime. This is a noble quest, one we should all endeavour to accomplish. How? Most people either look to religion or science for the answers. Scientology claims to be both. According to its founder L Ron Hubbard, It is the study of knowingness. Scientology is a religion that uses Dianetics, which they claim is a science of the mind. They say that they can cure almost all diseases, and increase mental abilities with Hubbards tech, making everyone more intelligent, peaceful and enlightened. Several other religions and cults make similar claims, but Scientology is one that charges exorbitant amounts of money for its services. Also, it has left in its wake too many people that have been killed, bankrupted, harassed, sued, discredited, driven to suicide. The list goes on, and it is still happening. It is clear that their aim is virtuous, but their methods are extremely flawed and harmful. Scientology is NOT science, it's a religious cult. It has caused the deaths of many innocent people, mostly their own members.
You could say this about ALL religions, and this is true. The hands of all popular religions, and especially cults, are stained with blood. We can read about these horrific stories, whether they be true or not, in Libraries, newspapers, internet etc. Most of these stories are practically free for the public; and are rarely suppressed. Some of them lack valid evidence to support them. However, Scientology is one organisation (which is split into many different corporations) that constantly tries to keep any negative information about themselves away from both the public and their own followers. This helps them to recruit new members more effectively. Even the smartest people in the world can fall for Scientologys lures. Hubbard was a fantastic salesman who thought of everything. He knew a lot about human psychology, hypnotism and mind control. Dianetics is a combination of all three fields. It doesnt take long before new members start to believe the lies they are being told by church leaders. It is not a question of gullibility or stupidity because any good person would most likely want to believe Scientologys claims; but they are false claims all the same.
There is also a staggering amount of evidence to support many of the claims made against Scientology over the years. These claims include murder, extortion, fraud, larceny, kidnapping, forced abortions, torture, arbitrary detention, invasion of privacy, harassment, blackmail, brainwashing, disconnection. You don't have to believe these claims; you can believe anything you want. But if you believe that an organisation that has been accused of these crimes should be thoroughly investigated, then please LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE. This information can be found on the internet, and yes there are a lot of lies on the internet, but there is also a lot of truth. Make up your own mind on what is fact or fiction. There is a lot of information about the good things that Scientology does all over the world, and these stories are probably true, but that does not excuse them from their crimes.
From Scientology's own writings, it is clear that they do not fully comply with the articles of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. For example, on Scientology's own website it states: There are certain characteristics and mental attitudes that cause a percentage of the population to oppose violently any betterment activity or group. This small percentage of the society (roughly 2 percent) cannot tolerate that Scientology is successful at improving conditions around the world. This same 2 percent is opposed to any effective self-betterment activity, and according to L Ron Hubbard these people should be declared SP's or Suppressive Persons. SP's, according to Hubbard, have "no rights of any kind...and actions taken against them by any Scientologist are not punishable...[They] may be tricked, sued, lied to or destroyed." That means that 120 million people of Earth have no rights and are at the mercy of any Scientologist, if the Scientologist believes that someone is criticising their beliefs because of some unconscious desire to stop human progress. This is a paranoid delusion conjured by Hubbard and passed on to his followers. Scientology itself is adverse to human progress. They claim to have all the answers, and many will attest to that, but anecdotal evidence is not proof.
