He didn't say anything bad. When Christians jump on him because he doesn't preach like his father they need to realize he's not against Christ. There are preachers for every sort. Joel tries to show the love and mercy of God and in my experience love is more powerful than condemnation.

Christians fighting otjer Christians are under the attack of Satan. I find no fault in Joels words, Jesus himself said there is forgiveness if you dont believe in him but there is no forgiveness if you blasphemy the holy spirit. What about all the monks or people from certain countries that pray to God all day and never heard of Jesus or the bible are they not going to heaven? Of course they are!!

And that doesnt mean Im for not beleieving Jesus is the only way to heaven because he is but you could serve the Holy Spirit the way Jesus or God wants you to and you may have never even heard of Jesus.

Joel is a great guy, great public speaker and motivational speaker, But He is preaching his and KINDA the gospel of Jesus Christ not the full Gospel. There is only one way to god and that is by believing that god sent his son Jesus here, to die for you and me, for our sins. And accept him as our personal saviour, and repent of our sinful ways. and live a life worthy of his great sacrifice, by his spirirt within you. Everyone has sinned, so everyone needs the saviour!

As a non-believer I have to say that Osteen presents himself as a pretty decent guy. Sure, he's avoiding the big answer, but his whole "I'll let God judge" is the way Christians should be. If you believe in God, than let him do his thing. If your fellow neighbor believes, than good for them, if not, then leave them alone!

Joel Osteen said the woman was right. That wasn't side stepping the question. But he contends with the idea of delving into judgment of others for what they believe. The Gospel is the "Good News" not the "If you don't believe this you'll die news" That is force, spiritual rape. You can't "Fear Loss" or "fire insure" people to heaven. Give them the best news and if they reject it, they've rejected it from their heart not accepted from a latent fear. Perfect Love casts out all fear

The Bible clearly states they are not going to Heaven unless they accept Jesus as their Lord and savior. Good deeds will not get you there. None of us have ever deserved to go to Heaven. We are all sinners. To think otherwise would mean Jesus died on the cross for nothing.

I assure you Abraham Isaiah,Jerehmiah, already knew the characteristics of the Christ before he was born in Bethelhem.Monks in tibet,will never hear about Jesus, but thats devilish to say they wont go to heaven. Nothing can seperate us from the Love of God, but we must abide by it. Joels not a real Christian? He asks people everyday to believe in the Bible.If hes not youre not how about that?He never said its "OK" to not believe Jesus is the only way,to heaven he would never!! Youre putting words in his mouth!! His words were taken out of context!! To say exactly what God will do to someone when they die isnt right, Noone has that power!! Every knee will bow to Jesus 1 day anyway We cant make people believe the Bible, we can only do what Joel does & preach it.

That's fine if he preaches exactly what it says. However he doesn't. I'm not saying he's a bad person, he just has a responsibility to preach exactly what the Bible says. Nowhere does it say that there are other ways to get to Heaven. This is what he is making people believe. He says it's not his place to say. He's a pastor being watched by millions and it's not his place to say? Wow.

Olsteen is preaching the Truth. He brings millions to Christ on a yearly basis. Don't let Satan use you against your own brother. Stop hating. Whoever accuses him of false doctrine, and those who comment against this man of God, will recieve what's due unto them. They will reap the negativity they've sown. The bible states, "Let not your good be evil spoken of". Pastor Joel is a good man of God, who means well for all humanity. I lift a standard. Every negative comment is bound.

So then, don't you wonder why, when Larry King kept giving him a chance to redeem himself, he refused to say "Yes Larry, the Bible says that the only way to enter into the Kingdom of God is to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he died for our sins. That's what the Bible says, and yes, I do believe that."?
It's no different than telling someone that the law says stealing is illegal. That's not accusing or judging your neighbor. That's just letting him know what is written in law!

Olsteen is not preaching the WHOLE truth. Even when given multiple chances. He doesn't WANT to come out and say the truth, because he is AFRAID of what people will think. And not just on national TV, but in his own church. He has ADMITTED that, in his ministry, he doesn't "like to use much scripture".
A man of God, who doesn't like to USE the Word of God?
It is IMPOSSIBLE to lead people to God if you don't teach them they must repent of sin! And that's something else he never mentions either

We believe the word which says, the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death. We are the righteousness of God and are covered with the blood of christ. We commune, eat the bread (his body) drink the wine,(his blood) that God will not see our sins. God looks at us and see's his son. We our in his body. Thats what he came for, to save us from sin. The truth is: You may repent, but are you really going to live everyday perfect, and never sin again?

i think larry king is trying to put Joel on the spot by asking him who's going to hell or who's going to heaven...but the bible says only GOD knows...Yet Larry king keeps on asking him...because we HUMANs have no right to judge others....whether your a priest or an atheist...only GOd can makes the decision..
