Have you even seen the original (or anything close to it for that matter)? It's far more brutal and primitive than this. Don't get me wrong, it's a good performance, but the original is obviously closer to what Stravinsky and Nijinsky intended - primitivism.

I don't really like modern dance much (it's not my thing at all) so I don't really have the right to comment about the dancing. However, I LOVE the music. It's my favorite Stravinsky piece.

I think that this choreography is too soft and too linear, compared with the music. I watched the original one by Nijinsky and found the dance evolved layer by layer. And the imposition is sophiscated too. I think that this dance doesn't especially work for this particular music. It can be accompanied by other contemporary music. In sum, the dance is too horizontal as the music is too vertical.

the sound quality isn't very good, but I can hear that the orchestra isn't that bad. For all criticizers, the music is very difficult.
