I'm 14. I can play any song as long as my teacher teaches it to me, but sadly, my teacher only teaches classical songs. I'm stuck with Pathetique 1st movement, Fantasie Impromptu, etc. :(
At least u have the freedom to play what u want. I'm a caged bird X_X

You should be more assertive, have her teach it to you, most Zelda music uses a lot of classical elements, such as this song. If I were more of a Zelda fan while I was still taking private lessons, I would have my teacher teach me this.

And Zack the "squiggly lines" next to the notes means instead of playing the notes like a chord, you play them seperately, ascending however many notes are in the chord, then holding that last note for however long it tell you to. It's kind of like a chord + gris note elements.
Besides, you can figure it out for yourself if you listen closely enough (not very hard) to the video.

...does your dad play the piano too? If not, he really shouldn't be telling your teacher what exactly to teach you, even if he's paying for the lessons.
