I think this was one I have been looking for for a long time. It was at a tribute to Roy shortly after his death. Everyone was there and this realative newcomer blew the place away. She had sung this at his black and white concert whith him i think. Untill this night she was a cult figure, Always drew laughs from them seeing her for the first time

I was in the audience for this performance. Los Angeles around 1990. It was a 4 hour tibute concert from which they culled an hour and a half show for broadcast. At the time the last note came the entire audience leapt to they're feet and tears fell. I'll never forget it.

Anyone that knows anything about music knows that you could never get sick of hearing this girl sing this song. Goose bumps everytime without fail. You can see why people stood and clapped before the song was even finished.
