So I know that there are quite a few Bare videos up on youtube already, but I felt there was a need to put to post the whole show once and for all- because it truly is a masterpiece in my opinion, and it's unbelievably powerful when viewed in its entirety.

's boarding school to welcome students back from Christmas break. Peter, an altar boy, falls asleep during the priest's homily and drifts into a nightmare in which he is outed by statues of saints, his mother, and his classmates (Epiphany). On his way to class after Mass, Peter finds his roommate
and clandestine boyfriend, Jason, who tries to assuage Peter's frustration about their relationship, which has been in full swing for some time now (You and I). Peter asks Jason to audition for the Senior Play, a production of Romeo and Juliet, so they can spend more time together, but Jason refuses
. The bell rings without Peter getting his desired kiss.

| The lyrics change from the show to the soundtrack in You and I may be the only change i actually like! I kinda like the feel of "blue eyes" better than "racing heart" but that's just me! and deatheater27, the summary of the show says that "The bell rings without Peter getting his desired kiss." so even though the first time I watched it I agreed with you, I kind of like it this way better =) |

| Duuude... the "blue eyes" thing annoyed me when I first heard it. It was so jarring. I think "racing heart" sounded way less cheesy XD But I do really like all the references to Jason's eyes in the show (like in Touch My Soul)... it puts it in your head that he has these amazing eyes that are like a window into his soul (Man, and here I was complaining about cheesiness...hahah). But yeah, I guess I appreciate that lyric change a little more now than I did when I first heard it. |

| Aaron Lohr is my favorite Matt =] I was slightly disappointed when I saw Bare at a local community theatre; their Matt wasn't portrayed as very likable/important. One of my favorite things about Bare is how you can relate to everyone on some level. It really puts the message out there that we're all human and have our own hopes/fears and the basic need to be understood. I feel bad when Matt's character doesn't get much appreciation since I'm used to Aaron Lohr making me like him so much. XP |

| Because the CD is a mixture of the New York and LA Versions of the Show. It was first performed in LA and they changed some of the words when it went to Off Broadway. The CD used some of the old lyrics, though honestly i almost always prefer the New York lyrics. |
