There's plenty of stuff you can see on TV/in movies when you're really youung and forget about it for years, only to have it all come back to you after seeing that same show/movie again years later...case in point: saw A Christmas Story in the theater when I was 4, and the flagpole scene stuck w/me for years after, but I couldn't remember what movie it came from until seeing ACS again on HBO some 10 years later. Ditto for TV theme songs, catch phrases, logos, etc...it's not uncommon!

Actually read about this in David Hofstede's 2004 book "What Were They Thinking?", about the worst events in the history of TV, and picked up a copy via eBay 2 years ago...def a classic example of 70s camp, yet has a certain charm to it that makes it stand out.
