my point exactly, boxing by its self is weak as a combat system, compared to being a well rounded fighter, were as 2strong seems to think mike tyson could beat up fedor with no training in any take down defence, and jsut use his boxing skills, which is jsut stupid

Im sure your one of those boxing lovers that gets upset that MMA is taking over and just a basic trained MMA fighter would be able to beat a boxer. Its hard to throw punches when your on your back gettin punched. Boxers dont even know how to block kicks and an mma fighter that trains mainly muay thai would destroy a boxers legs with ease. a good wrestler could easily get a boxer on his back. And if u actually knew facts, Anderson Silva is the one that wants to fight Roy Jones jr but couldnt because of contract with the ufc. and if you knew anything u would know that Anderson Silva is retiring next year to try and pursue the fight with Roy Jones jr. they are two different sports .. which one is actually going to likely get you better prepared for a street fight .. mma of course . but the truth is street fights are dirty, if you fight them right they are. no breaks, no time limits kick balls, bite, grab a brick, street fights are brutal, unless ur fighting a puss, the best think in a street fight hit him hard and fast, taking them to the ground in the city on cement, u could get just as injured yourself even if ur on top

problem with mma and boxing is simple, the best atheletes in the world are not picking either as their sports to focus on. They have been saying this for a long time in boxing, the problem with the heavyweight division is all potential heavyweight champs are playing pro football. Now with mma throw in basketball and soccer(worldwide) why fight in boxing or mma, if you can get paid more in a more popular sport.

Don't listen to the American media, but really look at them. Then look at what is going on in other countries. It takes a certain type of man to be a fighter, and those who do other sports are NOT fighters. Same thing as people say about wrestling, but tell me why every season starts with 120 kids, and ends with 30?

Well, no need for name calling I can give you that I dont know the situation is in Russia n some other countries. In the u.s. better athletes are drawn to the bigger, higher paying sports. Also, KIMBO was not a street fighter, i saw them call time outs, kimbo complained about being kicked once! it was lame, a street fight has no rules, thats simple to understand. I dont get on to argue, if u make sense ill give it to you, and yes, you could be right about athletes picking mma in other countries

kimbo, is not a street fighter he was a guy who wasnt good enough to make the nfl, he still bitches that he could of done it. But like i said before, in the garbage backyard fighting he was doing, they called timeouts if they winded, complained about getting kicked, complained about being taken down, a streetfight is a streetfight no rules. Well my bad for the name calling... Sorry. BUT A fighter is a fighter no matter what. Someone might have better coordination, or the potential to be better, but they will never capitalize on it because they don't have the fighting instinct. I've seen it throughout boxing and wrestling. good athletes came out a lot, but then quit in a few weeks. These are the men who are fighters, especially Fedor. I just really hate when people buy into the media bullshit.

I can agree with that, I've been boxing since i was 15 yrs old, i'm an old man now. And I did kickboxing and jiu jitsu since i was 20 yrs old, the number of people, studs who have walked in and didn't have the heart to be a figher are high, that i totally agree with. I am a huge fedor fan that's why i'm watching this video. But with someone with experience I do see some very athletic football players, basketball players in the u.s. who i wish would consider boxing. I would luv to train them
