UbuntoO, nice idea but it couldn't work, the inly reason this boat works is because it's made of super light carbon fibre, if it was made bigger and used to carry goods it wouldn;t be light and so couldn't get up on the foils

rawirig : easy to explain ! Once the boat reaches a certain speed, the foils would lift it up, thus taking the hull out of the water. This dramatically reduces the drag, the boat needs less energy to go forward and if I consider wind a a constant source of power, the boat would naturally go a lot faster.

Non il ne peu pas, en fait, le foil agit comme une aile d'avion, sous l'eau. La vitesse du bateau cr
éer une de pression sur "l'aille", qui décolle. Donc la vitesse réduite du bateau lors des manœuvres rapides empêche le bateau de décoller.

ère, a second will be build. If you hear Hydroptère Version 5 it's just because it has been rebuild and reconfigured a few times. This project is years in the making.
