Don't drink milk, we know it contains fat and cholesterol but did you know it contains the protein CASEIN (which is basically a glue which leads to a lot of mucous build up and other health problems like asthma and congestion), milk also contains.. powerful growth hormones, viruses, a host of deadly chemical and biological bacterial agents, bovine proteins that cause allergies, insecticides, antibiotics, all this can trigger the growth of cancer and contributes to today's problem of obese children (ever notice why young girls breasts develop faster?). Cow's milk is the number one allergic food in this country. It has been well documented as a cause in diarrhea, cramps, bloating, gas, gastrointestinal bleeding, iron-deficiency anemia, skin rashes, atherosclerosis, and acne. It is the primary cause of recurrent ear infections in children. It has also been linked to insulin dependent diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, infertility, and leukemia. Milk and refined sugar make two of the largest contributions to food induced ill health in our country.

Meat itself contains proteins. All living things have protein in their body to start off with, but yes they need to consume plants (and other animals) to get the protein they require to live a normal life. That's why veganism works.

Precisely, veganism doesn't just work, it means the body is being supported due to elimination of cholesterol consumption(found in animal products). The body synthesizes sex hormones using cholesterol, so cholesterol is a necessary ingredient in the body. There is astounding evidence to show girls who consume more animal protein have an earlier age of menarche due to the increased hormone production. Increased exposure to female sex hormones has been correlated to cancers...scary

Yeah, that is really scary. Although, I have to say, with all the science studies being conducted now it seems as if everything causes cancer. From obvious things, such as smoking, to stuff you would normally never expect such as hair dye. I have a friend who made a joke saying that life causes cancer.

I'd controversially say your friend was correct. We are exposed to carcinogens every day of our lives. I think the key is to support our body's by improving immunity, and I'm a great believer in good nutrition in supporting that. Antioxidants in fruit and veg (indicated by their beautiful colours) support our body by fighting free radicals, exacerbated by carcinogenic substances. Anyway, good debating this subject. It has been interesting :)

We have goats and produce our own dairy poducts. My family knows to never drink processed milk. Our goats rpoduce a very palletable quaility of milk. We also raise out own eggs and butcher the wethers. We changed our lifestyle a few years ago. Each month we buy less food and produce more. Suppermarkets won't have food if two things were to happen, 1 if the elecrtic goes off or those trucks stop running. And if you come to the counry to take our food we will be ready.
