that was pretty good ......especially since you have not been en pointe long. I would suggest though is that you turnout and maybe do some theraband excercises so you can pointe ur feet through ur pointe shoes.......good luck with pointe and stuff.......... :)

when did you go en pointe? how long have you been dancing? I want to go en pointe REALLY badly. i'm a little younger than 12. very flexible, soccer for 6 yrs.=strong legs, 11 fouettes, 4or5 piroettes, pretty good pointed foot, almost flat turn out. what do i need to improve on? HOW MUCH LONGER MUST I WAIT!

OK OK calm down i know the feeling of wanting to go en pointe badly.I started around January 20 or so.I have been dancing for a good solid 11 years! 11 fouettes!!WOW!!! I can barely get 1,but i am working on them. 4 or 5 piroettes? My record is 2!:-/ has your teacher metioned anything about going en pointe this year?ask her [or him :)] when they plan on having a pointe class all you need to do is be very patient,and sometimes its not just you..the whole class needs to be ready. hope that helped!

yes she did say that i should go into ballet 3 next year. half of that class gets to go up into pointe. i'm extremly excited about that! but i was wondering if there is anything else i need to know before going? how did you get on pointe when you can only do 1 fouettes and 2 piroettes? i thought there were requirments about that? that you had to be ablr to do like 32 releves and balance for like 20 seconds in demi pointe on one foot?

also how do you stand in pointe shoes? do you curl your toes and stand on the joint? thats what ive been told. could you post a video showing that? no one else has that. also have you read the entire twilight series? im almost fineished with twilight. i dont really know...i will have to think about that...i think that you stand mostly on your big toe and then all your toes will come together as to form 1 huge toe....i mean i guess you could think of it that way LOL ummmm i just started the series the beginning of august and i am still on Twilight...I am a verrrry slow reader and i get distracted easily :-/ thank you!!!! i got it from photobucket!

wellll make sure to cut your toenails...enough to where they arent digging into your feet cuz when i tried on my pointes for the first time they KILLED my feet and it hurt really bad! My studio doesnt have requirements- all that you have to do is be at least 12 and be in ballet for a good while. Probably 90% of the girls in my studio cant do a fouette....they just never stressed it to us

yea for me it works...when your dancing to actually think in ur head to not sickle...after awhile it will be come natural but in ur video its noticable in a few spots. and u can get hurt and i dont want tht o happen but overall ur rly good...alot better than me :)

i have gotten this comment before.....as i said, the angle of the camera was horrible, and the quality was bad. Even if I do do this in real life, I dont do it anymore. This video was kinda a rush so I wasnt concentrating.

yeah...this is kinda a bad video....im much better now...i hope to make another pointe video when my toes are nice and healed from my surgery.... they are grishko's.... im not really sure about the actual grishko brand but i do know they are grishko
