I saw it on MTV too , when it was worth watching. I collect 45's and had a difficult time finding a copy locally. I can't believe it didn't score as a Big Hit ! I have a copy now and the Sleeve was signed by Marshall himself. A Detroit Native, He played John Lennon on Stage

Ronnie Spector did a good version of this in 1989, released on her Crenshaw tribute EP "Something's gonna happen" in 1999. Super fine stuff but I must say MC's phrasing and timing is something extraordinary! Underbart!

This is one terrific pop song. But I disagree that MC has been underrated. By who? The music industry? The same industry that hypes undertalented, overrated nonsense from manufactured pop stars who don't know a guitar from a banana. It seems to me that MC has found the audience he was looking for, and we think he's the best!

That was great. I think I saw this a few times when it first came out, but never again since ( gotta love You Tube). Marshall is a great musician. I was lucky enough to meet him a few times and he was a really nice guy too.
