ok... so the oboe in classical music sounds like a cat that has been squeezed and stomped on... and the jazz oboe sounds like that, while ripping out the poor cats entrails with a rusty carving knife. all in all, it sounds like crap blown out of a tube. oboes can be burned.

You don't know how to appreciate the sound of an oboe. She has probably been playing a very long time. You try playing, and I guarantee you that you will sound like a dying duck. She plays it quite beautifully.
