Criss Oliva (of Savatage) Fan Made Memorial Video

Uploaded by: PeterTheRanger
Video Description:
Criss Oliva, guitarist of Savatage, died tragically when a drunk driver, on their 7th DUI offense, crossed over and slammed into Criss' car, killing him instantly and wounding Criss' wife, Dawn (who also recently passed away). This is in memory of Criss Oliva, who in my mind and heart, lives on forever.

Indeed. However, I think both bands have now found their sound. JOP is rock solid. And I think CIIC's last album "Delusions of Granduer" really marks their own sound, and probably their best album, by far.

I did. For a bit of fun, loud, grindy noise metal. But it's not something I regularly listen to. Usually when I want some "angry music" I throw in Nevermore. :)

Some things in life just don't make any sense, how such a musical talent could be taken fom us so quickly. Chiss Oliva was an amazing guitarist, all the power and emotion in which he played was amazing, I really miss hearing him play, he has no equal. He inspired many young guitarists out there today, his skills were nothing short of amazing. He will always have a special place in music for ever. God Bless You Chriss Oliva!!
