Great to see Gene 'dancing' on the snare drum with those brushes in this incredibly historic clip. Reminds me a bit of Big Sid Catlett. Actually re: Buddy Rich, he could be a very charming, warm and funny guy.He just got a bit ratty with a bad back after 50 years in showbiz - not surprising really.
