Will Ferrell stars in Semi-Pro, an outrageous comedy set in 1976 against the backdrop of the maverick ABA -- a fast-paced, wild and crazy basketball league that rivaled the NBA and made a name for itself with innovations like the three-point shot and slam dunk contest. Ferrell plays Jackie Moon, a
one-hit wonder who used the profits from the success of his chart-topping song "Love Me Sexy" to achieve his dream of owning a basketball team. But Moon's franchise, the Flint Michigan Tropics, is the worst team in the league and in danger of folding when the ABA announces its plans to merge with t
he NBA. If they want to survive, Jackie and the Tropics must now do the seemingly impossible -- win. will ferrell isnt that funny. at first his style of humor worked, like in anchorman and basically everything before that, but now every movie he plays the same character with a different accent or style or time period. he plays some sex crazed idiot that makes jokes about bears.

The fact is you fucking sacks of shit, that everyone has a different idea of what "FUNNY" is, so for the idiots that keep on saying this movie sucked or that will ferrel isn't funny keep in mind that just because he is not funny to you, it doesn't mean that he is not funny to other, or that other people like and even love this movie, quit being dicks about everything and let people enjoy whatever brand of fucking comedy they want.
