Today I encountered an idiot wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt. This caused me to do some research on the average American's knowledge. This research caused me to realize a terrifying thing. I began to think about how dumb the average person is, then I realized that half the population is even dumber than that. That's a horrifying thought to us intelligent people.

sed when you stated that adolf and che are equals." They are equals, not really in how many people they killed; but rather in attitude towards human life and belief. As I think is shown by Che's own words "To send men to the firing squad, judicial proof is unnecessary.....This is a revolution, and
a revolutionary must become a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate." Let's not forget when he said this "[H]atred as an element of struggle; unbending hatred for the enemy, which pushes a human being beyond his natural limitations, making him into an effective, violent, selective, and cold-b
looded killing machine. This does not sound like a kind man who would think twice about killing someone. And this certainly does not sound like a man teenagers and college students should be admiring as a hero. Let's put things into perspective here. The Nazis had perhaps executed about 2-3 thousa
nd people up to 1934. Then on June 1, 1934 Hitler massacred 71 people (which became known as "The Night of the Long Knives"). That massacre in a nation of over 50 million people appalled the civilized world. Now...on to your question "my question is, because you seem to know or have researched Ern
esto Guevara, who did he kill, " Guevara killed the Cuban people who opposed the oppression the communists put on them. In 1959 Cuba was a nation of about 6 million people. The numbers are entirely un-clear. Some people claim he issued the executions of 500 people. Luis Ortega, who was a journalist
who knew Che said he executed as many 1900+ people. Daniel James wrote in Che's biography that Che admitted to ordering the deaths of several thousand people in the first few years of the Castro regime. "how did he kill" He had them bound, gagged, blindfolded, and tied to a stake. Then they were
torn apart a bullet runs in the hundreds from a merciless firing squad. Che never had a second thought about ordering all of this without trials. "and why did he kill?" You've got me there. The exact reasons why he killed I do not know. Maybe he truly believed it was the right thing to do. Maybe
because it was his job. Maybe he felt like he truly was a good guy who was helping liberate the cuban people. That's how communists liberate people after all, they go in kill everyone and say, "you're free now, we've liberated you." Or maybe he was just a pretentious bastard with sadistic tendencie
s and just really liked sending people to be viciously killed. So, I'll confess, as far as actual number go Guevara was not equal to Hitler. But as far as the percentage of people he had, Guevara was well above Hitler. Just because we don't know the exact number of widows and orphans though doesn't
