The correct path is the one I take on the first two laps in this vid. The last lap I take the 'wrong' path and you can see with the times shown at the end that it is much longer. Keep practising in Venom then go for Rapier, always in Time Trial. Eventually you should be able to finish first with ease even with the AI ships. :) A few tips: brake before the first hairpin turn so you don't crash in the wall, as well as on the second split of the track. Also, if you have a turbo, use it when you are at the bottom of the hill, not at the top like I do in my video :) Good luck!

Ok, thanx for the advice - when I first saw this it looked speeded up, I dident remember 2097 to be so fast, i thought fusion was very fast, but much-much easier, a different design team made it I know, 2097 is so much better! Is it the best of the series? Some people really like WipEout 3 - what do you think?

Its not perfect, you touch the wall on several occasions. Still, pretty good :) But its the first track, the other ones are much harder imho. The first one i can fly with my eyes closed, almost. Always listening to the Firestarter instrumental, one of my favourite games. The other parts are not as much fun, sadly.

erm actully ur all wrong the quickers path u can use boost at the start turn right and fly right threw the terain past the corner, and then with the s bend u can just pull up abit and fly over all the curvs so u go in an exact straight line. that way u shave of a good 6-7 secends easy
