Video Description:
Tobuscus, the person who started the Coke, pork
worms video spree has admitted that his video was a hoax!
http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/porkworm.asp This is a little video we made in response to the video that shows what happens when you pour coke on pork. We have also included a nice little recipe for your enjoyment. On Trichinella Spiralis (source Wikipedia): Freezing pork less than 6 inches th
ick for 20 days at 5 °F (−15 °C) or three days at −4 °F (−20 °C) kills larval worms Cooking meat products until the juices run clear or to an internal temperature of 140 °F (62 °C). Cooking wild game meat thoroughly. Freezing wild game meats, unlike freezing pork products, even for lo
ng periods of time, may not effectively kill all worms. This is because the species of trichinella that typically infects wild game is more resistant to freezing than the species that infects pigs. Cooking all meat fed to pigs or other wild animals. Not allowing hogs to eat uncooked carcasses of o
ther animals, including rats, which may be infected with trichinosis. Cleaning meat grinders thoroughly when preparing ground meats. Control and destruction of meat containing trichinae, e.g., removal and proper disposal of porcine diaphragma prior to public sale of meat. http://en.wikipedia.o

Tell a friend:

She can keep up with me in intellectual conversation and surpasses me in particular areas of it. I think we are evenly matched on that. I definitely intend to hold onto her.
Kneejerk reactions help nothing. And religion says it is unclean while science says otherwise. Who do you trust, your imaginary friend or cold hard facts?
It is a simple fact that people like you and I are not willing to be lied to anymore. So we verify on our own the truth of their claims. Best wishes to you.
And secondly, you must not have watched the whole video or read the sidebar. Trichinella is only present in unvaccinated animals. You won't find it in the meat at your grocers.
"never leave your meat unattended."
haa :)...
