I would point out that because our country is infact a democracy and not fascist in any way, the people in this country picked Obama and all the other senators that voted to pass the bill. You can't blame Bruce; you have to blame everyone. Bruce also didn't tell Barack to vote the way he did, and we don't know if he agrees with Obama or not on this issue. So stop asuming, be angry at everyone and not just this guy, and chill out. If that's how you feel, try to change it yourself.

It's not a democracy; it's a constitutional republic. It's supposed to be governed by the rule of law, not majority opinion. The binding law is the Constitution. Outside of those bounds, the federal gov't has no authority to act. Such actions are rogue and illegitimate. You cannot "vote" on taking people's rights away. You cannot "vote" on things for which you have no legal authority. Merging gov't power with corporations is fascistic. Don't shoot the messenger.

Fine, it's a Republic. I get the difference, but we still pick who runs our country. While we may not be voting out of majority opinions every time something happens, we still picked our leaders. You may not like it, but that's how it is.

So it's ok to violate the rule of law because "leaders" were voted for? The economy doesn't change when the gov't takes it over? It's illegal and immoral! Why do you defend lawlessness? The Constitution LIMITS the powers of the federal gov't. When you exercise powers outside of your authority, that is called tyranny. So your arguement that the economy changes when the government tries to keep it from dropping any more is that that act is wrong? Right. Cause that makes total sense. It's not right for a family to become stuck in a rut because they can't get a job or at least a decent paying one, but it happens. The gov't can't fix the mess they've created. They can only make it worse. They expanded the money supply and mountains of debt were created. You cannot solve that by printing more money and creating more debt. There's no value behind the numbers. They're forcing the innocent to pay the penalty for the losses of the corrupt. McBama voted illegally to give dictatorial powers to the Treasury Sec'y. Our country is a constitutional republic. The federal gov't was created by the sovereign states specifically by the law which is our Constitution. That law delegates ONLY certain powers to the federal gov't. They are bound by this law. They cannot vote to do anything which is not authorized by the law which created the delegated powers they operate from. To act outside of that lawful power is tyranny. They are rogue.
