I wouldn't compare Regina to Tori Amos. Regina has such a better sense of humor. Sometimes I see her as a less dramatic version of Kate Bush, but most of the time she strikes me as something I've never seen before.

I know she does not sound like Tori. I am only comparing their looks. She does look a little like Tori. The only thing musically that reminds me of Tori is that they both play the piano. Regina definitely has a good sense of humor in the song That Time. I don't really know a lot about Kate Bush so I do not know what she really sounds like.

You are comparing Regina to Kate Bush over Tori? If you don't see a connection with Tori and Regina you are BLIND. See what they both look like playing live. You're just way off on this. They both make love to their piano benches and have fairy twinkles. If Regina wasn't so COMPLETELY SINCERE and such a lovely songwriter, I would almost go as far as to say she is ripping off Tori a bit, but she isn't, so don't get your panties in a bunch...

I've seen many playful-and-sexy-girls-on-piano, and I just don't think it's fair to say "hey it's tori amos" whenever I see one. It's like comparing every three-piece rock band you see to Nirvana or something. I compare Regina to Kate because they're both original, creative and daring(music-wise) songwriters, who just do their own things and somehow sound really awesome.
