Joey is nowhere near the fastest drummer nor is he the most technical. His blastbeats in this video looked stuggled, but it was solid and good. Either way he is probly one of the most inspiring drummers for me. He's one of my favorite drummers of all time still. If you wanna see a fast drummer look up Derek Roddy or George Kollias. If you want technical look up Mike Mangini or said above.

if u knew anything at all about drumming u'd know that the rev(a7x) uses stupidly simple beats with decent fills and as i lay dying andbeneath the sky are garbage they play nonstop blast-beat double bass trash the only one i agree with is brandon saller who is one of todays best drummers but he still cant touch joey prolly because their playing styles are so massively different

joey is awesome and i love his work, but dont diss the rev, hes a fantastic musician and a great drummer but he plays a different style of metal which is less extreme and more melodic and focuses more on the the song itself. Its less about speed and raging. i love joey, but the rev is not a shit drummer by any standards
