emo music is not just emotional...its overly emotional and mostly, if not solely, about sadness, depression, etc. there are many more emotions...such as anger, but you don't see slayer being called emo even if their music is emotional... i like the band, but this video is emo...the song seems (imo) slightly sarcastic or unapologetic to me, he doesn't seem sad about everything going to hell...he's just stating a fact and living with it. that's life.

well, according to most, if you talk about love, or heartbreak, or being sad, AT ALL, you are emo..right? Thanks, guys | Hah. I love that kind of feel towards the 'emo' sterotype. It is sadly true, but if we say we're going to kill ourselves or say we're depressed you get called 'Emo'. EX: I used to be friends with some mario freaks and whenever their friends were depressed they'd say(the person who hurt their feelings them)they turned him/her 'emo' . There's a word for that: Pathetic.

If anyone is dissing this video it is cuz they have never loved before or too scared to remember when they did love it hurt....cuz from personal experience I know that everything has an equal reaction which means if you love someone so much you will be hurt by someone just as much.....Awesome video It hit me where I actually know that someone out there is feeling the same as me!!!!!!!!

If you're going to comment on what other people write you should read what they say first. Yes, J.loren wrote this song, this I know. I think some people have nothing better to do then to sit around and criticize others. As for knowing anything about them..J joked that I should be their tour manager because I knew so much about them. I don't know about your interpretation of the song but I think they like people to have their own meaning of the songs, good for you.
