The Extrasensory perception of plants

Uploaded by: vibrantenergy
Video Description:
BBC Supernatural, This is an extract from the episode that talks about extrasensory perceptions(of plants and animals. In the study of plant physiology, plant perception is a term used to describe mechanisms by which plants recognize changes in the environment. Examples of stimuli which plants perceive and can react to include chemicals, gravity, light, moisture, infections, temperature, oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations, parasite infestation, physical disruption, and touch. Plants have a variety of means to detect such stimuli and a variety of reaction responses or behaviors.
Generally plant perception occurs on a cellular level and its concomitant reactive behavior is mediated by phytochromes, kinins, hormones, antibiotic or other chemical release, changes of water and chemical transport, and other means. These responses are generally slow, taking at minimum a number
of hours to accomplish and seen best with time-lapse cinematography, however rapid movements can occur. Research published in September 2006 [1] has shown, certainly in the case of Arabidopsis thaliana, the role of cryptochromes in the perception of magnetic fields by plants. In the study of paranor
mal phenomenon Plant perception, or biocommunication in plant cells, has come to mean a belief that plants are sentient, that they experience pain, pleasure, or emotions such as fear and affection, and that they have the ability to communicate with humans and other forms of life in a recognizable ma
nner. While plants can communicate through chemical signals, and certainly have complex responses to stimuli, the belief that they possess advanced affective or cognitive abilities receives little support except in the parapsychology studies community and among believers in the Gaia hypothesis. The
notion that plants are capable of feeling emotions was first recorded in 1848, when Dr. Gustav Theodor Fechner, a German professor, suggested the idea in his book Nanna. He believed that plants are capable of emotions, just like humans or animals, and that one could promote healthy growth by showeri
ng plants with talk, attention, and affection.

Insanely enough ... ( 8 months ago by dervishmadwhirler)
Insanely enough even eating only plants makes me feel a killer; my energy is always much better if I do not eat too much of anything; best to actually eat the seeds and stuff that plants drop in stead of just removing living organisms for food. If you can perceive colours of things and beings, you know already that a l;eaf broken off a plant leaves a shadow image at the spot where it has been removed. All living material is spirited. thats why we as a race are dying, we deny spirit.

I actually don't feel bad eating plants only since I express my gratitude when I eat only plants and fruits. I give thanks and appreciation which many humans don't do. That's why it's imperative that this information gets passed on, so the human race doesn't forget.

Ginseng have lights that can be seen by humans on full moons. When a human walks by the ginseng at night or gets too close, the ginseng immediately turns its lights off. The ginseng hunters actually shoot long arrows with feathers at the ginseng at night, from far away, so that when they come back in the day, they can find the ginseng with the marker arrows.

I used to talk to plants when I was young. I definitely felt their expressions. But I stoped perceiving them as friends when people made fun of me:( i am ashamed.. I heard when a sentient being assists another being by offering itself to nourish anotheron the path, it isimproving its own karmic path. The great giving up, one out of three feet that holds up the great vessel.

Well... Humans also "re-grow" from the Soul point of view, which means that we do not destroy their root, if we eat their bodies, SO CAN WE?
