Dude, you're getting mad at 'FACTS'. Your family may have had good memories, and I'm glad that they did, but it's true. If you say "You wouldn't have made it out alive" it proves that his statements are facts. Heck, I wouldn't want to live in a place where I wouldn't make it out alive. Unless I'm missing something here, I don't get why you're upset about it.
