this was alright but it sounds like everyone is trying to play over each other. there's no balance to it. (pyramid of sound!!) also, do have any tubas or bari saxes??? I don't hear the base line at all. (I would know, we're playing this show and I play bari sax :D) Just wondering. But the drill was pretty good... lots of good marching.

you're right. this band no longer exists, at least not in its form on this video, as all the seniors will be gone next year. not to mention I'm probably the only person who reads these comments, and I won't be there next year :)

I was gonna wait till the end to critize this Band. BUt are school did this music this season. And I really have nothing nice to say. The marching was really good. But the music leaves alot to be asked.

I would like to say great effort. There was some great marching but marching band is not just about marching. A larger part of it is the music. If the music is not good then the band has failed. There were some precision problems in the music and also some phasing problems. It also sounded like everyone was trying to out play each other. I could hardly distinguish the melody from the background.

Hey, I was told to check out this video for OUR production of this presentation this year (2007). 6200+ people have seen this video as of today... so something must have been done RIGHT!!
Good comments: Trombones really full (who said they couldn't hear the bass line as that is from where it comes); drums crazy (in a great); very together usually on the marching, and I like the snake walk during drum time (the director obviously put in his own very cool, let's even say "hip", flai
r)!

Poor comments: Trumpets fracking is a good comment; they are better when they know what they are playing as they seem lost (or nervous??) sometimes; where's Feels So Good (I'm thinking it wasn't played to do time constraints)? Flag girls are always a distraction (and I'm not gay by any means!)
Overall I hope we can do this arrangment justice... u did a good job and ur a small group too.

Well, no wonder they call him JessOnTheRun... Fight fire with fire as they'll never keep up. Nice comments buddy, AND WAY TO GO BACKING THEM UP. Funny when guys like him get called on their "circular logic," they run. No irony in his name.

you guys rock at drill and GE! need to show us a thing or two. but i do think the music could have been worked on a little bit more. like altosax552 said if the sound and music doesnt sound good then the band has failed. dont get me wrong you guys sound great but I just think that a little bit more music rehearsal should have been done! but great show, check out my band play Mangione Magic, last year like u guys! tell me whatcha think. your drill is way better though!

in echano the marching (spacing) was horrible. and the trumpets leave some to be desired musically. our band can play it better and we have 33 people including the guard. ill try to post it later
