I think Segway is our future of self transporting vehicle. They are expensive...but wait a couple of year and you will see, that prices are decreasing. All new inventions is expensive, because china doesnt yet started to build the same.

What if you have a handicap and can't ride a bike or walk? I have a fused ankle and find it uncomfortable to ride a bike but my Segway works great because it allows me to take "walks" with my wife and son, and I can now also take my dogs for a walk.
