In the 1989 film "Chameleon Street" which was voted best dramatic film at the 1990 Sundance Film Festival, Flint filmmaker Wendell B. Harris Jr. introduces the concept of solving a Rubik's cube as a way to impress someone (typically a powerful white guy) during a job interview.
We see that concept copied not once but TWICE in not one but TWO Will Smith features, "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," and "The Pursuit of Happyness" They say imitation is the highest form of flattery...
